Breaking Banks with Brett King will be streaming from the 2nd annual NY Tomorrows Payments Today Unconference, interviewing and talking with industry leaders from Consult Hyperion and Google Wallet.

New York City, Voice America Talk Radio Network, Internet broadcasting pioneer, producing and syndicating online audio and video, today announced that on October 24th,  Brett King will be hosting Breaking Banks LIVE from the Google offices as he discusses THE FUTURE OF MONEY with David Birch from Consult Hyperion, Peter Hazlehurst from Google Wallet, and other mobile money industry leaders at the 2nd Annual NY Tomorrows Payments Today Unconference. http://www.nypay.org/event/payments-unconference/

The Un-Conference is the brain child of Consult Hyperion and organizer David Birch, who wanted to create a conference forum that allowed for more discussion than presentation.  It will take place at the Google Offices in the heart of Manhattan, on October 24th, from 8am to 5pm.   It will be a chance for FinTech and Payments industry experts to explore the future of money, mobility, and financial transactions from the consumer, retailer, and banker perspectives. The conference builds from “thought leader” presentations and then breaks into sessions to allow discussion and synergetic ideas to come together.

Breaking Banks will interview a variety of thought leaders from many different industry perspectives and have them answer questions, discuss conference themes, and predict where they think The Future of Money lies.

What does the end of cash mean? Is it the end of cash?  Are checks going to survive to the next decade?  Mobility is changing the way we pay and conceive of money.   Will retailers and banks be able to keep up with consumer wishes and demands to provide quick, easy, frictionless, informed, and smart payment structures in Mobile phones?  How will that apply with the new wearables that the mobile industry is developing?  These are some sample ideas of what the conference will be discussing.

Join Brett King at 3pm, ET or Noon, PT as he streams live from the Google offices as he speaks with Payments and Fintech Industry leaders at the 2nd Annual NY Tomorrows Payments Today Un-conference! http://www.voiceamerica.com/show/2193/breaking-banks
