Selling your product or service is simple, right? Well, not so fast. Most of us tend to have the “this is a great product or service, why would you NOT buy it from me” attitude, and don’t understand why our online marketing campaigns don’t seem to produce results. The true key to any online marketing strategy is that you need to move your audience along a simple path – from cold (don’t know who you are at all) to warm (know who you are but are still kicking the tires) to hot (they are ready to buy or have become a loyal customer). It’s important to map out this process so that you can visually “see” where each of your contacts falls within your funnel and how you are going to communicate with them each step of the way.
