Let Surprise Be Your Muse! By Cheryl Esposito

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Deirdre Hade & Will Artnz to Leading Conversations.Deirdre Hade, a poet & modern day mystic, is founder of Radiance Healing & Radiance Meditation, a system of mindfulness for our time. A poet & spiritual teacher of divine inspiration, Deirdre combines the spiritual with the practical to achieve a transformative connection to self – the channel for all things possible. William Arntz began his professional career as a research laser physicist, developing wave optics simulators for high energy lasing systems. (AKA: the real Star Wars). Fast forward, he wrote a systems management software system AutoSys, sold his company & focused his interest on the nature of time – “what is time?” It took him deep into discovery, & expanded his realm of possibilities beyond science. He decided to make a small documentary about Spirit & Science, and, “surprise!”– it morphed into the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?” – a global phenomenon with over 100 million viewers.
So…a poet & modern day mystic, and a research laser physicist turned award winning film producer, walk into a conference hall…and surprise!… a loving collaboration of mind, body, and soul is born.
Their latest production, The (not so) Little Book of Surprises is the brainchild of Will Arntz, merging the mystical poetry & wisdom of Deirdre Hade, and photos & images of award winning photographer Endre Balogh. The result is a wondrous trip into worlds of perception and mystical vision that you’ve never experienced before. Willing to be surprised?
Join Cheryl Esposito with Deirdre Hade & Will Artnz and let surprise be your muse.

Language of the Soul: Our Sacred Purpose By Cheryl Esposito

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Melanie DewBerry, the “Soul Coach,” co-creator of “Choice” magazine for coaches, a “wordologist,” & educator in the power of language to shape our sense of self. Melanie says we have a problem today: intelligence trumps wisdom. And without wisdom, there is no guidance. We have forgotten how to learn from our elders, from the storied words, from the essence of experiences; and then to weave that learning with the data, facts, & logic to inform actions. We have forgotten the language of our soul, our sacred self & our purpose in the world. Melanie has a master’s degree in Asian Economic Development & Political Risk. In China she taught graduate business students & worked with the government on the pricing of goods in Latin America. She studied multiple languages, was a pioneer in the field of coaching, & mentors master coaches around the world. And…she wants us to flex our wisdom muscle. Join Cheryl Esposito & Melanie DewBerry to learn the language of the soul!

Leadership in the Age of Meaning: Power or Trust? By Cheryl Esposito

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Dawa Tarchin Phillips, CEO, Empowerment Holdings and Director of Education,Center for Mindfulness and Human Potential,University California Santa Barbara. Is your leadership about Power or Trust? Dawa says ‘we are moving from the Age of Information to the Age of Meaning’- the requirements of leadership have transformed. Leaders who over-invest in their power are destined to fail. Their currency is fear. Showing vulnerability risks power loss. Leaders for the Age of Meaning know: power and influence comes from strength and flexibility. They invest in inspiring the trust and confidence in others. They develop people and create meaning in work: they are comfortable with uncertainty. Self-awareness is paramount. Dawa says “…your leadership stands and falls with the quality of your presence, the clarity of your mind, the health of your relationships and your courage in taking skillful action.” Join Cheryl Esposito and Dawa Tarchin Phillips exploring Leadership in the Age of Meaning!

To Create the Future, Change the Conversation By Cheryl Esposito

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Peter Block award winning author, thought leader, and consultant to corporate, government, and community organizations in the realm of empowerment, stewardship, chosen accountability, & the reconciliation of community. Peter’s many books include The Answer to How Is Yes: Acting on What Matters, the 2002 Independent Book Publisher Business Breakthrough Book of the Year; and his most recent, Community: The Structure of Belonging. Peter suggests that our major challenge in moving toward a relevant future is to focus on what we can create, rather than what problems we can solve. Instead, he observes, “Nothing new gets created by better problem solving or by focusing on low-hanging fruit. No matter how sophisticated we are as a learning organization, if our conversations are limited to measurable outcomes, we are simply getting better at a system, not creating a new future.” Want to know how to do this? Just say yes and join Cheryl & Peter in the conversation!
