Scott Alexander: Mental Wellness, A Choice You Can Make By Leslie Carol Botha

HolyScott Alexander Hormones Honey! Tune in for Leslie Botha’s latest Episode  “Scott Alexander: Mental Wellness- A Choice You Can Make” airing May 1st 9am Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.

Scott Alexander spent most of his life depressed. In 2010 he lost his job, and his life, career, and identity was gone.  Devastated he spiraled into a pit of alcohol, muscle relaxers and pain meds.  He developed sleep anxiety and would toss and turn for hours.  He’d take a pill or three and chase them with vodka…praying he would sleep.  He knew he would wake up hung over and groggy, and that people would comment he looked ill…if they only knew.  His closest friends knew something was wrong, but Scott could never admit it.  He had lied about it for so long; he didn’t know how to tell them the truth.

Now Scott is 42 and feels better than he has in years.  For the past 23 months he has been taking EMPowerplus™Q96  His head is clear, the depression and anxiety have eased.  Scott’s story is not fresh or unique. It’s a story shared by millions of people who appear to be ‘happy go lucky’ while hiding their depression.  This is one man’s story. But how many of us can relate?

The Word Autism On Blank Puzzle Pieces

Holy Hormones Honey! Tune in for Leslie Botha’s latest Episode  “Welcome to Autism America 1 in 68 children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD” airing April 10th 9am Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.

On March 30, the CDC released its latest report on autism rates in 11 states in the U.S.  The data shows a disturbing 30% increase in ASD over the data reported in 2010. Although the CDC acknowledges ASD is on the rise, they claim to be stymied as to why while lamely citing increased ‘awareness’ and ‘misdiagnosis’.

Earlier this year, biochemist Dr. Brian Hooker created a firestorm when he revealed he obtained sensitive CDC documents through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. His analysis shows statistically significant risks of autism associated with the vaccine preservative Thimerosal (mercury), citing methodical itemized ‘misrepresentations and outright errors’ in the government’s analysis.

Hooker will reveal that the CDC is aware that pregnant women getting the flu vaccine are 8 times more likely to bear a child with neurological impairment.  And that infant exposure to vaccines increases their likelihood of developing ASD by 7.6 times. What is the government hiding and why?

In 1985, Dr. Hooker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, from California State Polytechnic University. He earned his Masters of Science degree in 1988 and his doctorate in 1990, both in biochemical engineering, from Washington State University.

Hooker has published over 50 science and engineering papers in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals. He has a son, aged 16, who developed normally but then regressed into autism after receiving Thimerosal-containing vaccines. Dr. Brian Hooker’s investigative research is sponsored by the Focus Autism Foundation, which is dedicated to informing the public about the cause(s) of the autism epidemic and the rise of chronic illnesses. Illness Defined: Mercury Toxicity and Trauma By Leslie Carol Botha

mercury

Holy Hormones Honey! Tune in for Leslie Botha’s latest Episode  “Illness Defined: Mercury Toxicity and Trauma airing March 27th 9am Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.

Richard Diaz, author of Illness Defined has been an outspoken advocate on the dangers associated with mercury exposure for the past 30 years.  He feels strongly that the organic source of disease has been overlooked by scientists, researchers, and the medical industry. In fact, he believes that “no scientific or medical study is valid unless and until a heavy metal assay has been completed on the subject(s).”

Diaz states that most people are not aware of the presence of heavy metals in medications, dental applications, makeup, consumables and vaccines. A metallic neurological disturbance can lead to violence, rage, anxiety, addictions, compulsive behaviors, and CNS disorders.

Diaz has invited a special guest to join in the discussion to share his experience about how the neurotoxin Mercury was implicated in an auto accident which began his rapid descent into illness with no hope of recovery. Eliminating Mercury was the first step in his path to healing from the trauma.

Guest Bio:

Richard-diaz

Born shortly after World War, II Diaz had all the cultural attitudes of a rebellious personality. Whether that is from the common culture of the times or the systemic poisoning he was exposed to, remains to be answered.

After 30 plus years of investigating medicine, disease and chronic illness, Diaz came to a number of conclusions; most doctors are prisoners of their education and shackled by their profession, and most importantly not a single medical professional knew how to define illness.

After all the classes, groups, and speaking with researchers, scientists and patients, Diaz proceeded to define illness from basic principles he had collected. This was not easy and took years but he came up with a definition that would apply to anyone, anywhere in the world.

This is not a how to, about getting healthy. Everybody tries to tell you about that. Diaz will teach you what you already know, in a different context and in doing so you will begin to understand how to avoid illness.

vitamin dHoly Hormones Honey! Tune in for Leslie Botha’s latest Episode  “A World without MS: Vitamin D’s Role ” airing March 6th 9am Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.

March is National Multiple Sclerosis Education and Awareness Month. MS was identified almost 150 years ago, yet the disease still has no cure.  Over 2.5 million people around the world have been diagnosed with MS including about 400,000 Americans. Women are to 2 to 3 times more likely to develop MS than men. The number of MS cases continues to grow. Sue Ryan joins host, Leslie Carol Botha to discuss the role of Vitamin D to prevent or even treat MS.   Upon retiring from a career in Washington, D.C., in her early 50s, Sue’s health unexpectedly deteriorated. She empowered herself to find out ‘why’ by attending medical seminars and conducting research to resolve her health issues.  One of her key findings was that she was highly deficient in Vitamin D. While on her journey to better health, Sue became impassioned with the health benefits of Vitamin D. One of the health benefits supported by scientific research is vitamin D’s connection with MS.
