I am passionate about the work I do, the call God has on my life, AND I love watching it catch fire. I love seeing men and women from all areas of the world…Step away from that very place, and into the Spirit, into God’s arms, direction, insight, and power.
He is so good.
I watch God transform the lives of men and women, failed marriages and addictions, footholds and illnesses, confusion, anxiety, and despair…He tears down our walls, restores our foundation, and brings us back to life with the power of the Trinity, the truth of the written Word and the grace of Jesus Christ our savior.
Oh, I never imagined to be serving this way. I sometimes hardly recognize my own voice but I don’t care… I just ‘go and do’. I am just like the rest of us. We are all just doing the best we can.
And, that is what I love inspiring others to do… To do the best you can at the life you’re living!
Something I have noticed is that men, and couples, keep coming to me for help. The first couple who came to me was lost in a web of infidelity and heartache. They were surely sent by God because KNOWING my call was to work with women, (Ha, how little we really know.) I could have easily turned them away. But, there is one question I always ask a future client…
What made you reach out to me for help?
The man answered...”I’ve tried everything but God.”
It was like God himself spoke to me and of course, I would work with them, even though, that was never my plan. So now I am getting to the point of this blog.
There are so many tools, groups, support and direction for women. My book that comes out this spring has a whole section dedicated to Godly men because I love these men and they are wanting a relationship with God just like the rest of us. Oh, how important it is to have strong Godly men in our homes, communities, and workplaces.
We have a real movement in the world today, to build up strong women and I love that…But not at the cost of our awesome men. This truly is catching fire in my heart, mind, and soul and I know I am to step in.
God is nudging me and so it goes. Last fall I began hunting for resources for the men I work with. I wanted to find a place for men to thrive, be inspired, and grow in their faith. I do a fine job with this myself, but I wanted a great place for these men to be built up by men. I am very careful to lead folks in the way God has directed, which means sticking close to the written Word. Finding a place for men that matched this was not easy. There are some awesome podcasts and individuals to follow but I wanted more.
I wanted a community that leads men, God’s way. That is when I found Pastor Jody Burkeen. His story is passionate and real. God has taken hold of his life and he is… (right off his website)

Wanting men to stand up to the challenge God has laid out before them in His Holy Word.
I share this with you all for two reasons. First, I wanted you to know who Jody is, to look for him on my talk show this coming Wednesday, February 13, and to be watching for future events. We’re planning a joint speaking event which has given me a burning fire to ignite the souls of men and women…..To Live, Love, Learn, and Lead God’s way. There will be more on that to follow.
