Whenever a natural disaster occurs, Be the Star You Are! charity mobilizes to get books, DVD’s, videos, games, and other resources to the victims through our Operation Disaster Relief Program. Our volunteers are now packing boxes for Operation Hurricane Matthew Disaster Relief. We are shipping to specified locations to help families who suffer a loss and give them the gift of a brand new book.

If you are an author, publisher, or individual who would like to donate a case of BRAND NEW BOOKS (we are not shipping used items), please contact us at info@BetheStarYouAre.org and we will vet you and get you the location to ship your donation. You will receive a tax deductible receipt from us for your donation.

We also need financial donations to ship these books. You can make a difference in the lives of someone in need. We seek volunteers to help BTSYA secure donations to our Paypal account to accomplish this. Kids helping kids. A donation of $25 ships a small box of books, $100 buys and ships a case of 28 brand new books to anywhere in the continental USA.

For the fifth consecutive year, Be the Star You Are!® 501 c3 charity has been honored with a prestigious 2014 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

“We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2014 Nonprofit once again!” says Cynthia Brian, Founder and Executive Director of Be the Star You Are!® 501c3 charity. “All the volunteers have worked very hard and we are very proud of our accomplishments this year, including our Operation Disaster Relief program and our two international radio shows, Starstyle® Be the Star You Are!® and Express Yourself!™ that are bringing positive messages to the world.”

Do you know that a typical child in a middle-income household owns 13 books, but among low-income households, the ratio is only one book for every 300 children? America definitely is suffering in a literacy crisis and we have the power to make a difference.

With the recent tornado devastation in so many states, Be the Star You Are!® volunteers have once again initiated Operation Disaster Relief, this time to get books to those who have suffered. The goal is to ship in time for holiday gifts to be distributed. We need your help. Watch the video. Learn more. Donate.

 Tuesday, December 3rd is National Giving Tuesday, a time that everyone is encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation to a charity.
