POS REP is a mobile, proximity-based social network made expressly for the military veteran community. Short for Position Report, POS REP connects veterans who served together but more importantly allows veterans to discover peers and resources in their communities. Anthony Allman is the CEO & Co-Founder of POS REP. Since his Honorable Discharge from the Army in 2003, Anthony has worked as a veterans advocate with such organizations as the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Student Veterans of America, Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) and Team Rubicon. In 2010, Anthony transitioned into the tech sector where he worked for Google’s first Value Added Reseller of Google Apps, a cloud-based productivity suite. Anthony also founded Cloud Corpsman, a 2011 VA Innovation Industry Award finalist, which developed a direct import tool for VA’s Blue Button Initiative and Google Health.

Anthony Allman

Anthony Allman is the CEO and CoFounder at POS REP; a mobile, proximitybased social network designed exclusively for the military veteran community. Anthony served as the Director of Strategy at ViWo Inc, Google’s first Value Added Reseller of Google Apps, a cloudbased productivity suite. Under his leadership, ViWo became the first private sector partner in the Department of Defense Information Technology Exchange Program which seeks to enhance DoD knowledge of cloud computing technologies. Anthony was also the Founder of Health IT startup Cloud Corpsman, a VA Innovation Award Finalist, which developed the first integration tool for the Department of Veterans Affairs Blue Button Initiative and Google Health.  Prior to a career in technology, Anthony was a tireless advocate for veterans. From 20032007 he worked for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Los Angeles Regional Office as the Coordinator of College Outreach. In 2008, he was elected first Vice President of Student Veterans of America participating in the campaign to secure passage of the Post 9/11 GI Bill. He also worked with members of Congress to introduce H.R. 5474 Student Veteran Financial Aid Fairness Act of 2008. On campus, Anthony instituted the first change in the UCLA orientation program in over a decade, laid the foundation for the Veteran Resource Office and worked to bring the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities program to the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  In 2004, Anthony interned for Congressman Brad Sherman where he administered the Democratic Member Services Task Force website. The following year he interned for Senator Dianne Feinstein where he developed proposals to the FY06 Defense Authorization Act to include the procurement of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles. Anthony holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA and served in the US Army as a PATRIOT Enhanced Launching Station Operator (14T) from 2001 – 2003 deploying to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

It has been said that we are only a generation away from forgetting our history. Disabled American Veterans struggle every day to overcome life-changing sacrifices. Their stories provides a vital part of history that has contributed to our American tradition. American Heroes Network provides a way for individuals, corporations and small businesses to support our Heroes by helping our veterans and their families rebuild their lives. They help aim our veterans, looking for jobs, in the right direction, help provide homes for our troops, assisting individuals and their families who have been severely injured while serving in the U.S. military and providing scholarships for families of our Fallen Heroes.  This will be a weekly hour long show joined by our military heroes and people and organizations that make a difference.
